On a warm fall evening, 20 guests gathered at a
beautiful new Italian-style home on Lake Minnetonka for a multi-course Italian dinner. The hosts used specialty linens they had flown in for the occasion and hired a solo pianist to play throughout the night.

  • Belgian Endive with Pickled Napa Cabbage, Cucumber and Radish
  • Open Faced Polenta Sandwich with Portobello Mushroom and Bleu Cheese
  • Won Ton Cup and Shiitake Mushroom Relish
  • Grilled Pita with Pumpkin Seed Puree and Tomato Corn Relish

First Course

  • Tartare of Maine Yellow Fin Tuna and Japanese Yellow Taic Tuna with Malpighi 25 Year Old Balsamico and Three
    Year Tamari
  • Freshly Baked Breads with Sweet Butter

Second Course

  • Roasted Organic Butternut Squash Cappeletti with Sage, Mascarpone and Stryian Pumpkin Seed Oil

Main Course

  • Pan Roasted Veal Loin with Warm Porcini Mushrooms served atop Truffle Potato Puree with Chef's Choice of Fall Vegetable

Plated Dessert

  • Hot Valrhona Chocolate Truffle Cake with Three Sauces and Flower Garnish
  • Italian Roasted Coffee, Decaffeinated Coffee and Hot Tea
