MPR Gala

In March, D'Amico Catering at The International Market Square had the honor to host the annual Rare Pairings Gala to benefit Minnesota Public Radio. Formally known as MPR Winemaker’s Dinner, this unique dinner featured a spectacular matching of the innovative cuisine of Shea Gallante, the world-renowned chef of CRU Restaurant in New York City, with spectacular wines to complement each course. The stunning setting for the gala was designed by Todd Pinzutti of Bungalow 6.

This annual gathering, one of MPR’s largest fundraisers of the year, was attended by over 300 guests and raised close to $200,000. While guests enjoyed this special dinner, they had the opportunity to participate in the silent and live auctions throughout the evening while enjoying the jazz sounds of the Benny Weinbeck Scene.
