Mill City Museum
The Mill City Museum is a unique venue located within the ruins of a National Historic Landmark, the Washburn A Mill. Whether you are hosting a dinner, benefit cocktail party or wedding, your special event at The Mill City Museum will be memorable. An attraction for all ages, the museum chronicles the flour milling industry that dominated world flour production for roughly a half-century and fueled the growth of Minneapolis, recognized across the nation and around the world as "Mill City".
The spaces within the facility can accommodate groups of all sizes. These include the Ronald William Guzy Mill Commons that can accommodate 220 seated guests, receptions & classroom spaces afford space for 300 - 350 with theater seating for 400. The Sage and John Cowles Rail Corridor and Adjoining Balcony offer room for 50 seated guests or a reception for 75 guests. The Exterior Rail Corridor affords views of the Mississippi River for up to 300 guests. The striking exterior Charles H. Bell Ruin Courtyard offers space for 130 seated guests or a reception for 200. Several smaller rooms throughout the building can accommodate groups of all sizes.
